Lanarte: Arabian Woman

Arabian Woman had been on backorder for a couple of months. I was on my way out the door to a friend's house when I checked the mail Saturday afternoon. I didn't have any other cross stitch projects with me, thinking I would spend most of my time working on either my crochet project or my new learn-to-knit project. Well, I just couldn't stand it, I had to pull it out and start working on it while we were watching a movie. I DEFINITELY had to make a working copy of the chart - it is HUGE, and very easy to lose your place.

January 14, 2010 December 22, 2008 December 28, 2006 May 5, 2006: Over two years have passed since I last worked on her - wow, time flies. She's been whispering at me for several months, but I had resisted until now. I wanted to at least start to see her face, and just seeing the outlines made me just HAVE to finish filling it all in - she's so pretty. February 1, 2004: AW jumped out at me Friday afternoon and wouldn't stop screaming at me, so I had to work on her a little bit and post an updated scan. I really love the colors in her. September 27, 2003: Here is my progress (about an hour's worth).
